Online medical consultations are expected to be an effective means of reducing the burden of clinic visits and improving access to medical care. On the other hand, some patients have expressed anxiety regarding the procedures for receiving prescribed medicines after their consultation. Therefore, connecting the process smoothly from the consultation to the start of taking medication is considered a key factor in supporting the continuation of treatment.

Through this partnership, patients will be able to seamlessly proceed from online medical consultation and online medication guidance through to receiving their prescribed medicines. Patients can select "Yoyakusuri Pharmacy" as the recipient for their prescribed medicines. After the consultation, they can book an online medication guidance session via the URL sent via SMS to their registered phone number, allowing them to receive their prescribed medicines at home or other preferred locations after the guidance is completed. This provides a consistent medical experience that looks ahead to the start of medication after consultation, contributing to the creation of an environment where patients can easily continue their treatment.

This partnership has commenced on the ophthalmology online medical consultation platform already introduced at "Tenohira Eye Clinic" (https://www.tenohiraganka.com) in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (*). Going forward, we plan to sequentially expand its implementation in response to the needs of medical institutions.
