Started collaboration with Rakuten Group's "Yoyakusuri Pharmacy"

InnoJin Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "InnoJin") is pleased to announce that it has launched an integration with "Yoyakusuri Pharmacy," operated by Rakuten Group, Inc., within its ophthalmology online consultation platform.
Online consultation is expected to be an effective means of reducing the burden of clinic visits and improving access to medical care. On the other hand, some patients have expressed anxiety regarding the procedures for receiving prescribed medicines after their consultation, and bridging the gap smoothly from consultation to the initiation of medication is considered an important factor in supporting treatment adherence.
Through this integration, patients can seamlessly proceed from online consultation to online medication guidance and receiving their prescribed medication. Patients can select "Yoyakusuri Pharmacy" as the pickup location for their prescribed medicine. After the consultation, they can book online medication guidance via a URL sent by SMS to their registered phone number, allowing them to receive their prescribed medicine at home or elsewhere after the guidance session. This delivers a consistent medical experience that anticipates medication initiation after consultation, contributing to an environment where patients can easily continue their treatment.
This integration has begun on the ophthalmology online consultation platform already implemented at "Tenohira Ophthalmology" (https://www.tenohiraganka.com) in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (*). Going forward, we plan to sequentially expand this service according to the needs of medical institutions.
InnoJin will continue to promote healthcare DX, work to improve the quality of patients' medical consultation experiences, and aim to realize a society where everyone has access to the medical care they need.
* Patients are free to choose the pharmacy to which their prescription is sent.
