Introduction of Exhibit Contents
① VR-Based Pediatric Amblyopia Training Software Medical Device (Unapproved in Japan)
The medical device exhibited this time is an app that performs training for pediatric amblyopia through gaming experiences in a VR space. It employs a mechanism that allows children to naturally immerse themselves while having fun. In addition to improving treatment effectiveness through continuous training, it is also expected to reduce the psychological and time burdens on guardians.
◎ Key Features
- Enables stereoscopic vision training utilizing eye-hand coordination
- Allows formulation of individually optimized treatment plans through a usage time logging function
- Expands potential applications in medical settings by visualizing training content and outcomes
*This product is exhibited for informational purposes only, and we are not accepting sales or reservations.
② Smartphone App-Based Dry Eye Diagnostic Support Software Medical Device "Dry Eye Checker" for Easy Assessment of Dry Eye Status via Smartphone (Unapproved in Japan)
Dry Eye Checker is a smartphone application capable of aiding in the diagnosis of dry eye on a smartphone by measuring maximum blink interval (maximum time eyes can be kept open) and completing a simple questionnaire.
We are advancing development with the goal of becoming the first software medical device in the field of ophthalmology.
◎ Key Features
- Blink detection using the smartphone camera (measurement of maximum blink interval)
- Recording of subjective symptoms using a dry-eye-specific questionnaire
- Diagnostic support for dry eye based on collected data
*Dry Eye Checker is a technology currently under development, and a prototype is being showcased at the exhibition.
