Next Generation Ophthalmic Solutions — VR-based Pediatric Amblyopia Training Medical Device and Dry Eye Diagnostic Support Smartphone App Dry Eye Checker on Display (Both Unapproved in Japan)
At our booth (Booth No: H-17), we will present the following two technologies as new solutions supporting the next generation of ophthalmic care.

① VR-based Pediatric Amblyopia Training Medical Device (Unapproved in Japan)
The medical device displayed this time is a program that conducts training for pediatric amblyopia through a gaming experience in a VR space. It adopts a system that allows children to naturally enjoy themselves while becoming engrossed, and it is expected to contribute not only to improved therapeutic effects through continued training but also to reduce the psychological and time burdens on parents.
Main features
- Stereoscopic training using eye-hand coordination is possible
- The usage time recording function enables the planning of individually optimized treatment plans
- The visualization of training contents and results expands the potential for application in medical settings
※This product is a display for informational purposes and is not available for sale or reservations.
② Dry Eye Diagnostic Support Smartphone App "Dry Eye Checker" that Allows Easy Evaluation of Dry Eye Condition on a Smartphone (Unapproved in Japan)
Dry Eye Checker is a smartphone app that enables support for dry eye diagnosis on smartphones by measuring the maximum eyelid opening time and entering a simple questionnaire.
We are progressing with development aimed at being the first program medical device in ophthalmology.
Main features
- Stereoscopic training using eye-hand coordination is possible
