We exhibited a VR-based software medical device for pediatric amblyopia training at the 81st Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Low Vision and Strabismus and the 50th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology.
We will exhibit at the equipment exhibition jointly hosted by the 81st Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Amblyopia and Strabismus and the 50th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology, to be held on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, 2025, at ROHM Theatre Kyoto and Miyakomesse.
At our exhibition booth, we will display a VR-based software medical device for pediatric amblyopia training (not yet approved in Japan).
Because this VR-based software medical device for pediatric amblyopia training uses games in a VR space, treatment can be provided through content that naturally engages children, potentially enabling effective treatment with less burden on patients and their families.
In addition, this VR-based software medical device for pediatric amblyopia training can simultaneously provide stereoscopic vision training through eye-hand coordination exercises. Furthermore, because it can record app usage time, it enables the development of more effective treatment plans.
The VR-based software medical device for pediatric amblyopia training is being exhibited for informational purposes only and is not for sale or reservation; however, we aim to expand new possibilities for diagnosis and treatment in clinical settings and provide a low-burden medical experience for patients.
